Mobile Surgical Services (MSS)
MSS is contracted to the Ministry of Health and works alongside DHBs to deliver elective surgical services to rural communities throughout New Zealand. The service also provides training and professional development to rural health practitioners, to support the maintenance and development of rural health services. MSS also supports secondary and tertiary hospitals and educational institutions via remote telepresence linkages with experts and centres of excellence in New Zealand and overseas.

Occupational Safety and Health Service of the Department of Labour
The Department of Labour provides best practice information and guidance to assist New Zealand businesses with health and safety in the workplace.
