DHBs continue making progress on health targets (18 July)
All the country’s district health boards continue making progress on the 10 annual health targets, chalking up big gains in tobacco control and in reducing hospital admissions for children under five, Director-General of Health Stephen McKernan said today.

Mental Health Services Target: Six out of 10 mentally ill people have crisis prevention plans (10 April)

Community-based oral health services open year round and equipped with modern facilities have helped Invercargill reach more Maori and Pacific children, the two groups most likely to have poorer oral health.

Health Targets: Challenge and Opportunity (8 August)
Health targets offer a significant opportunity to improve the health of all New Zealanders, Director-General of Health Stephen McKernan said.
